This is a half profit half donation fanzine of the Soul Eater series for the anniversary that is coming up next year and I am looking to see if anyone is interested in joining to celebrate the occasion. In order for this to be a success I would like everyone to at least try and reblog and share to get the word out. Interest check will last until around Jan. 5th, then after that depending on how many applied, I will open and put up the schedule for the zine.
Artist Crafts Miniature Replicas of Japanese Houses Filled With Traditional Details
Simon Lo creates incredible, scaled-down versions of traditional Japanese houses that are filled to the brim with tiny hand-crafted items. Each charming miniature is planned and hand-built with incredible attention to detail. In one particular two-story model, Lo uses dried banana leaves to construct the roof and light-weight plexiglass for part of the front. There’s even two LED lights on each floor that can be turned on and off from the back.
Fun fact: This scene is from an art project called Shrek Retold, in which the movie Shrek was re-created, scene by scene, by over 200 artists of all varying levels of talent, and it’s freely available on youtube.
